Shropshire Deaf Children’s Society (SDCS) is a registered charity (No. 515693) that provides opportunities for families with deaf and hearing-impaired children to get together for mutual support and to have fun. We have one aim in common: the welfare of hearing-impaired children and their families.

Who is SDCS for?
We welcome all hearing impaired children and young adults and their families, who:

Live in the Shropshire county (including Telford & Wrekin areas)

Have any level of hearing loss, temporary or permanent

Use hearing aids or have cochlear implants
-
Use speech, BSL or total communication.

What does the SDCS do?

Regular events for children and their families

Information and signposting, and help to access local services

Social and emotional support for the whole family

Encouraging your children and young people to have fun and develop confidence
