Expert Parent Workshop
Held in your area on Saturday 4 April in the NDCS office, Edward Street, Birmingham.
The day is suitable for parents of deaf children of any age and focuses very much on ensuring they understand their child’s rights, to use in practical ways with the services they come into contact with. It starts around 10am until 3pm including lunch.
The Shropshire Deaf Children's Society (SDCS) is a countywide (Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin areas) voluntary support group for parents, friends and professionals caring for hearing-impaired children.
We help by supporting children and young people with hearing impairment e.g. providing specialist equipment to improve listening in classrooms and homes. We organise a range of social activities and talks throughout the year to support parents and carers. We also provide information and helpful contacts.
Information and the opportunity to share knowledge around the implications of hearing loss
