What a Superstar!

Last week, Alice took part in a lesson for her class all about hearing aids and what it is like to wear them. Her new teacher for September also came to the lesson and found it really useful to know how to support Alice next year.

Alice has had an amazing year in school – she has started using an FM system to help her concentrate in lessons, and her teachers say it has made an enormous difference and that she is developing excellent independent skills.

The school year has ended with Alice winning a poetry competition for her year group, where she had to recite a poem in front of the whole school. She showed so much confidence - Alice’s family, her teachers and her Teacher of the Deaf are all very proud of her!
